Please Print All Information 2. No entrant shall be involved in commercial winemaking or use the services of a
commercial winemaking facility. The is an amateur competition.
3. One bottle of each entry is required.  No wines will be returned to the entrant. Standard
Entry Catagories: 750 ml (4/5 quart) wine bottles and 375 ml wine bottles only. No odd shapes.
1. Vinifera-White 2. Vinifera-Red 3. Vinifera-Rose 4. Each bottle must identified with the winemakers name, address, entry category number
4. Hybrid-White 5. Hybrid-Red 6. Hybrid-Rose and grape or fruit variety.
7. Native-White 8. Native-Red 9. Native-Rose 5. To enter, complete and sign the entry form and present it with the wine to a Valiant Vineyards
10. Fruit (non-grape) 11. Sparkling-All types 12. Fortified Winery employee or designee.
6. All wine must be entered by Saturday, Aug. 28th, 2009, 5pm at Valiant Vineyards Winery.
7. Entry categories are listed below. Select the proper category from those shown.  Wines may
be reclassified at the discretion of the committee.
8. The committee will decide questions about rules and procedures. All decisions
will be final.
Note 1: Indicate the state in which the grapes were grown. "SD", "NE", "IA", "MN", etc. 9. Entry fee is $5.00 per Wine Entered.
Note 2: Indicate in what form the juice was obtained. "Grapes" or "Fruit" for grapes or fruit you crushed & pressed, "Juice" for fresh juice, "Conc" for concentrate.
Note 3: Sweetness-Designate as "D" = Dry with less than 1% sugar. "SD"=Semi Dry with 1.0 to 3.0% sugar, "SW"=Sweet with 3.1 to 6.0% sugar, "Dessert"=More than 6% sugar.
